The Transnational House
General Information
Originally completed in 1981, this building held many firsts in the Cayman Islands. It was the first building to incorporate a Georgian architectural style, the first office complex for an insurance company, and the first to include living accommodations – six luxury first floor apartments.
The second phase is known as, the “Transnational Conference Centre”, was completed in 1985 and doubled the total floor area of the development to 80,000 sq. ft. The conference hall provides accommodation for 300 and facilities exist to accommodate smaller meetings.
The main suite of Transnational House was occupied by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to the island in February 1983.
